Earth 60 Minutes.

Even before the Earth Hour page (in Facebook) came up with a list of enjoyable things to do while the lights are gonna be out later, I have already been thinking of making my own. My family participated in the said activity last year and was happy to be one of the many households who cared about the environment. While others will be groaning and complaining for 60 minutes , you could be one who would find Earth Hour a good cause and a very fruitful activity. So turn your electricity off and have fun.

The doc's external hard drive is with me. He asked me to download the movie Invictus and save it in his 1 GB USB but the movie's size is 1.36 GB and needed a bigger space for saving. So he didn't have a choice but to have it saved in his external hard drive.

As soon as I got it, my curiosity took the better of me so I ended up browsing through his files, looking for anything that might at least give me a hint what kind of a person he is when outside the hospital.

I saw movie files that are almost the same type as what I like. Some were his med school files including case reposts, PowerPoint presentations and reviewers. He also had this music folder so I clicked it to find out that about 95% of the songs that he listens to, I also loved.

I tried retrieving hidden files but to no avail. Everything's clean. No signs of weirdness, oddness or strangeness.

However, the lack of suspicious stuff in there makes him a more suspicious man.

The first time I ever saw a box jellyfish, I was twelve.
Our father took us to the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
I never forgot what he said...
That it was the most deadly creature on earth.
To me it was just the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen.

A woman falls asleep with both of her mammaries exposed for everyone to see. She must have been so tired being her son's bantay that she doesn't care if her areolas were as black (or brown) as earth.

"Ma'am, can you please pull your shirt down?" I should have said.

But she looked so peaceful in her sleep that I didn't interrupt. Afterall, she should have been aware of where she's at and the environment she's in.

--

"Ma'am, do you have a syringe?"

The woman looks at me blankly, a little quizzical.

"May injection kamo ma'am?", I repeated the question using the layman's term for syringe.

The woman didn't flinch even just a tiny bit.

"Ma'am, ang gina gamit bala mag hatag sini.. (shows her the vial of Ceftriaxone). Ang may dagum bala ma'am.." I explained further while my hand gestures the way medicine is given intravenously.

The woman then moves from stupor and hurriedly takes out a 3 ml syringe from her bag.

I went back to the nurse's station and shares this to Tasha.

Tasha: Sa sunod gani, renggilya hambalon mo.

Me: Ayuga? Muna gali ilonggo sg syringe? (Then laughs at myself.)

--

Man taps me in the shoulder..

"Doc, ang dextrose bali ni (name of patient).."

Me: Ay, nurse ko ya sir...

Man: Amo man na gyapon.

Me: Indi gid ya eh. (Muttered under my breath.)
